About
Hello, fellow readers!
Hello, fellow readers!
Today, I’ll take you on a journey into the origins of the blog – “The Creation of Us”.
My name is Tea 🫖,
a Macedonian expat who has been calling Ljubljana, Slovenia, home for the past 10 years. With a passion for traveling and a heart full of wanderlust, I am always on the move, ready to explore new places and try delightful cuisines —truly a self-proclaimed hedonist at heart. 🗺️
Armed with a linguistics degree, I’m thrilled to combine my love of storytelling with my wanderlust. Blogging is currently my happy place, a space where I can pour my heart and soul into sharing my adventures with the world. It isn’t my 9-to-5 hustle, but I dream big; maybe one day it’ll be my full-time gig! ✈️🚀
I really enjoy organizing trips. My friends often joke about how much I plan every little detail, but when you’re visiting a place, you want to make the most of your time, right? My travel expertise spans from curating detailed itineraries to recommending must-visit spots. So, if you don’t like planning but love traveling, I can help you out. Check my travel shop.
How it all started?
I used to joke that someone who explores the world and captures its beauty in photos should share those moments and memories. So, my friends thought, why not me? It’s not about me being in the spotlight; it’s about the journeys, the advice I can offer, and the experiences I can share.
As for naming the blog, my initial ideas were all taken on Instagram, and honestly, they weren’t that great. I needed something unique that reflected who I am. Then, after seeing a sneaky photo from the Sistine Chapel (you know, “The Creation of Adam”), it hit me: “Why not play around with this masterpiece?” And so, “The Creation of Us” was born.
I’ve decided to make my blog a bit different. Instead of a typical blog format, each post will be written like a letter. I think it adds a personal touch and brings me closer to you because I want to be your go-to buddy for travel tips and ideas. My aim is not just to share my adventures and advice but to build a travel community.
Lastly, the inspiration for my menu divisions comes from “Eat, Pray, Love.” I have rewatched it before my trip to Naples, and if you’ve seen it, you know that scene with Julia Roberts devouring Neapolitan pizza. That’s pretty much how I’d describe savoring life and the “Dolce Vita.”
So, it’s all about eating, traveling, and loving, dear travelers.
